Some case studies

The Flash $500 image
Recently we've taken on a couple of new customers who called us saying: "my web designer is blackmailing me. I have a Flash website and he/she wants $500 to change an image. Help!!!" After inquiring into the issue we realized that in all cases, the web designer was using a third party to create and modify the Flash document and that due to the low level of Flash experience the third party had, changing (or adding) an image became a major job for them and that's why they were charging $200 to $500. Is this right? Of course not, but the reason why they were charging so much was because of their incompetence more than their malice (at least that's our assumption). And we provided the right solution to those customers at a fraction of the cost.

Coming Soon
When we see a page that says "coming soon" on a website that seems to be otherwise completed, that usually tells us that the client is still making decisions regarding that particular page, or more likely that the web designer said "yes, sure I can do it; let's finish everything else and we do this last"; and of course, "it" never gets done. Most of the time it is the case of a shopping cart, blog, or other interactive functionality. If you think you may have a case of "coming soon", give us a call, we will look into it.
